 Hanging by a moment ((open))

Light walk slowly down the street towards the Tokyo Park. He made his way to a bench on faceing the sidewalk and sat down. He watched as the nameless faces passing by him. They all had their own world and most were completely unaware of anyone else. He leaned back into the bench. He wondered it he would see someone he knew. It wouldn't suprise him at all is Misa showed up. That was because of the pure fact that she somehow always seemed to find him no matter where he was. It's not that he minded but he honestly didn't need L suspetion rasied anymore than it already was.

So much had changed in Light's life in just a short period of time. He was now the infamous Kira, whoever no one knew that well know one except for Misa Amane, who was a whole story by herself. Light wondered if he could ever love her the way she loved him. It's not that he hated her, she just want really his type. He liked his women to be a little more intelligent. Whoever at this point he really didn't have any other options. "I wonder what will happen next," he thought curiously. It seemed everything was in a tail spin. Lucky for Light he was very smart and knew how to take everything thrown at him. He definately thrived in adversity.

L, or Ryuga Hideki as Light knew him, had had Light trailed into the park, when he had stopped L had become suspicious and so had come himself, merely to take a closer look. Of all L's suspects Light was the tip top of the list with almost a 90% chance of being Kira, perhaps what was about to happen would alter L's investigation significantly. L, or Ryuga trudged down the path toward Light, hailing him in his usual level voice. Even though Light seemed more or less typical of people his age, but there was something that bothered him, something even L couldn't put his finger on.

L, or Ryuga made his way down the park path with a newspaper tucked under his arm and hunching his shoulders with his hands thrust into his pockets. Upon pretending to spot Light, having in actuality known where he was the whole time, he waved to him lazily and began to make his way over to him. "Yo, Light." He greeted in his usual dulled tone. "You've seen this I assume?" He asked holding up the newspaper the headline of which read 'Kira: savior or sociopath?' Dropping the paper into Light's lap he hopped up onto the bench beside him, dropping into his usual hunched crouching position, "What do you make of it?"

This would seem an amateur move to anyone who knew 'Ryuga' was in fact L, but this question was merely an excuse to engage Light in conversation, no one who was Kira would admit to agreeing with him and L knew this. The real observation began here.

Teru Mikami, who was gifted with a Death Note, had seen Lawliet approaching Light Yagami. He knew that he could just kill Lawliet right now, but he stayed in the shadows of the trees, looking all over, pretending not to spot them. For, he knew, killing him would attract only... "unwanted" attention. But he was smarter than that. He would wait. But, upon seeing them engage in conversation, he knew he would end up intervening. Sooner rather than later... Teru thought.

Cautiously, but not so much as to attract attention, he qpproached the two of them. He had noticed that they just finished looking at a paper, reading 'Kira: Savior or Sociopath'. What arrogance... He thought. That they would label the God Kira with such a lowly human term... but he repressed his anger... for now. An outburst wouldn't help his position any more.

"I think..." Teru said, interjecting in their conversation, "That that is a pretty interesting argument. But that's just my opinion." He gave a friendly wave to them both, hoping to be drawn into their conversation. "But really, who an vouch for Kira's opinions on his thoughts?"

He hoped to be inconspicuos, saying that to defend his point, but at the same time, hoping to keep his sanity and life by encompassing all views simultaneously. He wasn't a prosecutor for nothing all his life.
